Elders

Mark and Sarah have been at R&C for over 30 years. Mark is a Civil Engineer and Professional Land Surveyor, Sarah is a recently retired nurse.  They have two children: David (wife Katie) and Elizabeth (husband Daniel).  They have seven grandchildren: Anna, Lily, Abby, Luke, Lucy, Matthew, and John. 

Mike joined the eldership in 2007.  He came to UCA in the late 70's and stayed.  Mike & Suzie have two children: Kelsey (husband Jason) and Austin (wife Ashley), who are also R&C members, and have two children: Elliana and Noah. 

I am married to Elizabeth.  We met at Harding University, where both of us earned our college degrees.  I am a retired teacher from Vilonia Public Schools, where I taught 6th grade math and coached 7th grade girls in volleyball, basketball, and track & field.  Elizabeth is retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield where she was the e-Commerce Project Administrator.
          We have 3 children.  Carson, our son, is the Practice Administrator at Cornerstone Clinic in Little Rock where his wife Rachel works as an RN; they have a daughter, Collins and a son, Lawson. Kinsey, our oldest daughter, is a MA at Conway Women's Health Center, her husband, Cash is a financial adviser for risk insurance; they have a daughter, Ellis and two sons, Carter and Will.  Julia, our youngest, is the PA in Memphis, TN.  
We have been attending R & C since we moved here in August of 1986.  The Lord has blessed us tremendously and I want to do everything I can to build and strengthen His  body.  Life is short and everything we do should be done to bring honor and glory to God. May we seek His will in our lives and not our own will. 

Cindy and I placed our membership with this congregation on November 19, 1989 (the day after we were married).  More than half of our lives have been spent in this congregation and our girls have grown up with this church family.  We’ve seen many changes: families come to and move away from Conway, kids grow up and wonderful saints go ahead of us.  As a deacon for 14 years and an elder since 2012, I’ve seen one thing that hasn’t changed – we have an eldership who strives to be faithful to God’s Word.  I cannot imagine a better group of elders to work with.  Your elders love you, love each other and most importantly love God and desire to be true to His Word. 

Keith and Debbie raised their family here at R&C. Debbie was also raised here, her father also served this church family as an elder. They have three children: Nathan (wife Jessica), Brandon (wife Natalie), and Hannah (husband Jonathan).  They have five grandchildren: Jeremiah, Jaxon, Jace, Norah, and Briella. 

Allan and Sharon met in college and made R&C their church home more than 25 year ago.  They have two sons: Jed lives in Florida, and Noah and wife Susie, make their home here at R&C, and are expecting their first child in August. 

Brian was raised here at R&C, He and Mary have made this their church home for almost 30 years. Both are recently retired. They have two children, Clint and Tara are members here at R&C. Lindsay and Phillip live in North Carolina. Brian & Mary have four grandchildren:  Harper, Haven, Olive, and Willow.

Tim and Maynette have called this their church home more than 25 years.  Tim works at Acxiom and Maynette teaches at Vilonia schools. They have one son, Alex, who is married to Megan, who was also raised here and is the daughter of the Ledbetters.
